I got a complaint about my 'loud cooking.' I was making pasta.
the note about noise that is more aggressive than the noise it's complaining about
document everything. date, time, what happened. if it escalates you'll want the paper trail.
old buildings transmit everything. it's not you. it's the building. that doesn't make the note less maddening though.
my neighbour discovered the drums at 47. i'm discovering what it's like to lose my mind.
someone parks half on the pavement every day. there is an entire empty road next to them.
neighbours who let their dog bark for an hour and then seem genuinely surprised you mentioned it
wind chimes sound peaceful in adverts. at 3am they are something else entirely.
I'd rather have the conversation than the note. notes escalate. conversations sometimes solve things.
