streaming apps that put their giant logo over the corner of the original cover art are so disrespectful

There's original artwork. Someone designed it. It exists. And you just... stamp your logo over the face of it every single time. The thumbnail is the first thing I see. Let the art breathe.

are we really going to be mad at a giant company for trying to increase brand recognition? the logo is literally going to be there anyway, so wouldn't a more prominent placement just make you more aware of the product that's about to stream in front of you?

I've started watching things just via the title text because the thumbnails tell me nothing anymore

the algorithm A/B tests thumbnails too so what you see isn't even what I see. personalised disappointment.
