every product on etsy is now just ai art slapped on a mug. where did the actual artists go

searched for a handmade birthday card last week and spent 20 minutes weeding out ai garbage. gave up and made one myself.

found a real artist on there finally and paid double. zero regrets. she actually made the thing.

the worst part is people defending it. 'it's still a product!' no it isn't. it's a print-on-demand dropship scam with extra steps.

Etsy had one job and they fumbled it spectacularly.

I reported like 8 shops last month. probably did nothing.
