the trick is to document what you were hired to do and compare it every 6 months
put the new responsibilities on your CV and then interview somewhere else. every time.
same. they just... added things. quarterly. until I was doing two and a half jobs.
my manager approved my time off. then scheduled a mandatory all-hands over it.
'unlimited PTO' where nobody takes any because nobody dares to be first
companies that list 'passion' as a requirement just mean they want to underpay you
we just had a meeting to align on the agenda for next week's meeting
the annual review where they say you're doing great but budget is tight. that conversation ends careers.
